These Terms of Service govern your use of Sidekick, a product operated by WhileLoop Labs. By accessing or using Sidekick, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Sidekick is a mobile-first product that helps users log food, hydration, exercise, and weight using natural-language input. The product may also provide dashboards, weekly statistics, goals, reminders, and AI-generated coaching or summaries.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to use Sidekick. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use automated means to abuse or overload the product.
• Submit content you do not have the right to submit.

4. AI and health disclaimer

Sidekick is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Nutrition values, calorie estimates, activity estimates, and coaching outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for medical, nutrition, or fitness guidance.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you submit to Sidekick. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, and display that information in order to operate and improve the service.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Sidekick at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will always be error free.

7. Termination

You may stop using Sidekick at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if continued access creates legal, security, or operational risk.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. WhileLoop Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to WhileLoop Labs, excluding conflict of laws principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the text posted on this page. Continued use of Sidekick after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. For material changes, we may also provide notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
